16 Koreans complete foster home education in L.A.
July 28, 2014
Sixteen people from nine families attended a completion ceremony Saturday for foster home education classes under the Korean Foster Family Initiative.
Held jointly by Korean American Family Services and the Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family Services, the initiative looks to help families obtain foster home licenses.
As of March, there were 57 Korean children under the care of the DCFS — not one Korean family was available to them.
