19-year-old Korean midfielder to start 2nd season for OC Blues

19-year-old Kim Seung-ju will be showcasing his talents in his second year with the Orange County Blues FC for the upcoming United Soccer League (USL) season.
Before leaving his hometown of Busan, the young South Korean midfielder played for the Korea Republic U-19 national team in 2014.
Kim had a few reasons unrelated to the sport for choosing to play in the U.S. despite his options.
“Compared to other countries, I preferred the U.S. because I can learn to speak English here,” Kim said. ” Also, I feel like there will be more opportunities I can pursue here after I’ve finished my soccer career.”
