20 Korean honeymoon couples left stranded by Korean travel agency in Cancun
May 20, 2015
Twenty Korean couples were conned from their honeymoon packages by an unnamed Korean travel agency in Cancun, Mexico, according to the Mexican Consulate General Monday.
The agency, one of seven such Korean agencies in Cancun, reportedly has not paid the couples’ money to hotels. Its employees’ whereabouts are unknown.
The couples, who ended up paying again for their hotels, have decided to file a lawsuit against the travel agency.
The consulate will request the arrest of agency employees through Interpol.
