Driver killed in a single-car crash in Fullerton
FULLERTON (CNS) – A driver was killed in a single-vehicle crash today in Fullerton, authorities said.
It happened about 7:15 a.m. in the 2655 block of Orangethorpe Avenue, just east of Magnolia Avenue, according to the Orange County coroner’s office, which identified the victim as 51-year-old Misun Cha, of Buena Park.
She was pronounced dead at UC Irvine Medical Center in Orange just after 2 p.m., the coroner’s office said.
Her passenger suffered serious injuries the crash, but is doing OK, Fullerton police spokesman Sgt. Mike Hines said, according to Orange County Register.
Fullerton police Sgt. Jeff Stuart said Cha’s vehicle went off the westbound side of the road and struck a building at 2655 West Orangethorpe Ave.
