2NE1′s ‘Gotta Be You’ is MTV Iggy’s Song of the Year

2NE1′s “Gotta Be You” was selected as 2014 Song of the Year in a poll on its site, MTV Iggy announced Thursday.

“It’s fitting since the trap/house song and its bold pop art meets fashion video combined all the things we loved in 2014 … and reconfirmed that 2NE1 really is the best,” MTV Iggy said.

“Gotta Be You” was one of 14 staff-picked songs on the poll alongside tunes like Sia’s “Chandelier,” Lorde’s “Yellow Flickr Beat” and Francisca Valenzuela’s “Prenderemos Fuego al Cielo.”
