Microsoft using K-pop to advertise one of its new products in the U.S.?
Yes, it’s happening.
Americans will soon be hearing the familiar notes of K-pop girl group 2NE1′s mega-hit song “I Am The Best” on ads for the technology giant’s new Surface Pro 3.
According to YG Entertainment Tuesday, the ad will run for six months on television and for one year on the Internet.
“I Am The Best,” to date one of 2NE1′s most-loved chart-toppers, was released in 2011.
