3 Korean American teens win big at US Junior Short Track Championship

April Shin, Thomas Hong, You Young Chea qualify to go to Osaka, Japan, for the Junior World Championships, to be held March 7-9.
Three Korean American high school students won big at the 2015 U.S. Junior Short Track Championships held Jan. 24-25.
April Shin, 16, and Thomas Hong, 17, took home top victories at the event, with Shin placing No. 1 in the 1,500- and 1,000-meter races and Hong in the 500-, 1,000- and 1,500-meter races.
You Young Chea placed fourth in the women’s side overall.
All athletes qualified to go to Osaka, Japan, for the Junior World Championships, to be held March 7-9.
