Helen Kim kicks off election campaign for judge

Helen Kim’s election campaign officially kicked off on Saturday.

Helen Kim, 49, is campaigning for the Office No. 76 seat in Los Angeles County’s superior court for the upcoming June 3 general elections.

The official kick-off ceremony for her campaign was held in Koreatown on Saturday.

“I chose to run to help the growth of Koreans in politics, as the superior court judges hold a lot of influence,” she said. “I ask for the Korean community’s support, as I want to provide more fair and improved services to Koreans as well as become a source of strength for them.”

Kim will run against Alison Estrada, a fellow L.A. County prosecutor.
