HyunA “Red” hot
Ranks No. 1 on Chinese music video site, Yin Yue Tai’s V-Chart, for four straight days
K-pop star HyunA wants her brand to be “hot,” and she is certainly suggestive, to say the least, in her new album titled “A TALK.”
The lead single is called “빨개요,” and to simply translate it as “Red” would not be doing justice to the title.
Billboard says “HyunA solidifies her diva brand in sizzling ‘Red,’” and the music video is certainly doing well in China. It ranked No. 1 on the Chinese music video site, Yin Yue Tai V-Chart, for four consecutive days since its release.
However, the 22-year-old “Gangnam Style” star who balances her solo career as a member of the girl band 4Minute and the duo Trouble Maker says, “If people say ‘I don’t like the girl, but I like the song,’ that’s actually the response I want hear.”
“A TALK” is her first solo album since “Ice Cream,” which was released in 2012.
HyunA debuted as a member of Wonder Girls in 2007.
