Check out ‘Fall in love with Korea’ contest
Ready to fall in love with Korea?
Join the Korean Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism’s annual event, jointly held with KBS World, which invites non-Koreans from around the globe to participate in a content-based contest.
The event, titled “Fall in love with Korea,” is comprised of two contests and aims to share foreigners’ perspectives of Korean people, culture and places.
The first contest, held through Aug. 20, is called “Korea, My Love” and invites participants to submit a video, photo or webtoon promoting and explaining why they love Korea. The second contest, to be held in October, is called “Discovering Korea in My Country” and asks people around the globe to share Korean images and Korean culture found in their own countries.
Six total contest winners will be announced Sept. 1 and mid-December. They will receive a 5-day trip to Korea that includes tickets to an award show and experiences to teach them Korean culture, history, cuisine and notable landmarks.
KBS World plans to make a documentary about their trip, to air early next year.
