Peaches in panties are hot in China
August 5, 2014
Vendors in China apparently started selling panties-wearing peaches as novelty gifts.
The peaches were sold as gifts for Qixi festival on August 2, which is known as the “Chinese Valentine’s Day.”
Sina News reports that a man only referred to as “Mr. Yao,” an owner of an online fruit shop in China, claimed to have created the pantied-peach. He has reportedly applied for a patent for the underwear-clad fruit.
Yao says his peaches’ panties are custom-made, Sina reports. Each peach is reportedly dressed by hand.
Jinling Evening News reported a box of 9 peaches can cost up to $80.
