KCON Experience 2014 to bring convention to fans’ fingertips
An immersive docu-series will bring all details of KCON 2014 to fans’ fingertips via YouTube, Mnet America announced Tuesday.
Fans will watch the annual convention unfold on their screens from beginning to end, from star arrivals at Los Angeles International Airport before the convention to fan meetings, panels, workshops, performances and MCountdown’s two-night concert.
KCON Experience 2014, hosted by Christina Lee, Stefanie Michova and Jackie Liu, will be available via Mnet America’s website and YouTube channel, according to a press release.
The experience has already begun, with pre-KCON specials from “Danny From L.A.,” as well as recaps and artist discussions, now available on the channel.
The convention, co-produced by CJ E&M and Mnet, will be held at the Los Angeles Memorial Sports Arena on Aug. 9 and 10. Featured artists slated to perform include B1A4, BTS, CNBLUE, G-Dragon, Girls’ Generation, IU, Jung Joon-young, SPICA, Teen Top and VIXX.
Mnet said viewers would have the chance to win giveaways and participate in voting contests on the experience’s Facebook page.
