Missing 17-year-old Korean American boy last seen in Diamond Bar

(CNS) — A 17-year-old boy went missing Monday.
John Jung Hoon Kim was believed to have been en route to Union Station from the Industry Metrolink Station when he was last seen near the intersection of Brea Canyon Road and Pathfinder Road in Diamond Bar around 7:20 a.m., Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Deputy Grace Medrano said.
Kim was wearing a white T-shirt, black sweat pants and carrying a black backpack, Medrano said.
He is 5 feet, 10 inches tall and weighs 135 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.
Anyone with information on his whereabouts was asked to call Sgt. Becerra or Det. Avila at the sheriff’s Walnut/Diamond Bar Station at (909) 595- 2264.
