Girls’ Generation Jessica will marry boyfriend next year, sources say
Girls’ Generation member Jessica is reportedly set to marry her long-rumored boyfriend Tyler Kwon next year, Sports Dong-A reported Wednesday in Korea.
According to industry sources, the 25-year-old singer, whose sudden hiatus from the group was confirmed yesterday, is planning to marry Kwon in May next year.
Sources said Jessica would get married in Hong Kong, and live in both Hong Kong and New York.
S.M. Entertainment, which manages Girls’ Generation, said in a press release Tuesday that Jessica would take a hiatus from the nine-member group due to “personal matters.”
Kwon is the chairman and CEO of New York-based asset management firm Coridel Group.
With Kwon’s help, Jessica launched BLANC, her own fashion brand, in August.
Sources said she has already looked into New York fashion design schools to attend after her marriage.
