Samsung publicly picks on Apple’s iPhone bending… again

Samsung has decided to capitalize on Apple’s iPhone 6 bend craze again by putting their on Galaxy Note 4 to the test.

The first time around, Samsung sent out this simple tweet on Sept. 26.

This time around, the company has decided to put much more effort.

Although the iPhone 6 has already been tested to be as sturdy as any other phone on the market according to Consumer Reports, Samsung engineered a jeans-wearing robot to show that its flagship phone can withstand pressures that the iPhone 6 allegedly cannot.

The device simulates sitting on a phone and released a video on their blog titled “Samsung Galaxy Note 4 Endures the Gluteus Maximus” that has already amassed over 1 million views.

Nowhere on the blog post does Samsung mention exactly who the video is targeting, but the implication is obvious.

Apple has yet to comment, but what might ensue is a marketing war that will benefit both parties through public discussion.

Although Samsung is gaining a lot of attention from its public attacks, it should be wary to not tarnish its brand with another seemingly desperate move.
