LA mayor to visit Asia on trade mission in November

Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti will travel to South Korea, as well as China and Japan, on a trade mission in November.
According to the Mayor’s Office Monday, Garcetti will prepare for the trip by meeting with ambassadors and related officials in Washington, D.C. this week.
China, South Korea and Japan are Los Angeles’ top three trading partners, the office said. During his visit, Garcetti will meet with government and business leaders to discuss investment and tourism promotion in Los Angeles.
His Asia trip will span Nov. 15 to 26. Garcetti is expected to visit Korea on Nov. 24 and 25.
