Daniel Henney and Jamie Chung discuss ‘Big Hero 6′

Disney’s new Marvel-based, action-packed comedy animated film to hit the theaters on Nov. 7

Make way for the nerds.

They’re the heroes of Disney’s new Marvel-based, action-packed comedy animated film, “Big Hero 6.”

The mouse-eared giant’s delighted moviegoers of all ages with whimsical robots a la Wall-E, but Baymax — Big Hero 6’s round, too-caring, too-adorable healthcare companion — is sure to send “aww” fits throughout theaters come Nov. 7.

Set in the fictional city of San Fransokyo, a futuristic imagining of a tech-forward mix of San Francisco and Tokyo, the film sets up the relationship between a genius 14-year-old boy, Hiro Hamada (Ryan Potter), Baymax and a group of “nerd lab” eccentrics as he goes after a Kabuki-masked villain following a terrible tragedy.

Two Korean American actors — Daniel Henney (“Tadashi Hamada”) and Jamie Chung (“GoGo Tomago”) — lent their voices to the film’s characters, joining Potter, Damon Wayans, Jr., Genesis Rodriguez, T.J. Miller, Maya Rudolph, James Cromwell, Alan Tudyk and Scott Adsit.

“Big Hero 6” is inspired by the Marvel comic of the same name and was created by the makers of “Frozen” and “Wreck-It Ralph.”
