David Beckham to visit Korea next week
November 1, 2014
Retired football star David Beckham will come to Korea next week to promote his whisky brand Haig Club.
The former Manchester United star will arrive Wednesday and appear at a lunch event and press conference for the single grain whisky in Seoul.
The visit is part of a world tour to promote the whiskey developed in partnership with Diageo and British entrepreneur Simon Fuller. He made a surprise visit to the TFWA World Exhibition & Conference in Cannes on Tuesday to promote the whiskey.
Beckham last made his trip to Seoul in 2008 to play a friendly match with FC Seoul.
