NJ students donate money to buy Thanksgiving turkeys for needy

Students collected $1,000 to donate to Jersey City to help buy turkeys for low-income residents and the homeless for Thanksgiving. (The Korea Times)
Eleven Korean American students in New Jersey elementary, middle and high schools collected $1,000 through an art exhibition that they donated to the Jersey City government Saturday.
Students personally delivered the money to Councilman Yoon Yeo-tae.
The money will go toward buying turkeys to donate to low-income residents and the homeless for Thanksgiving.
