California Republicans find a rising star in Young Kim
December 3, 2014
California Republicans have found a rising star in freshly sworn-in Assemblywoman Young Kim, the only Korean American in the state assembly.
In Sacramento, Kim met with the Republican leadership Tuesday, including State Senator Bob Huff and Assembly Republican Leader Kristin Olsen.
Olsen said the assembly needs someone like Kim to work with diverse communities and raise the quality of life for residents.
Kim said she hopes to fill all 12 years of the maximum assembly term.
