Footage released of McDonald’s employee allegedly assaulting Korean man

Footage surfaced today of a McDonald’s employee allegedly hitting a 62-year-old Korean man.

The incident occurred in New York City back in February.

James Jin Kim, 62, claims that the employee refused to take his order and stated that the restaurant did not serve “people like you,” referring to his ethnicity.

The video shows Kim trying to use his phone to record the incident. Soon after, the same employee appears to hit it out of his hand with a broom.

Kim, represented by Attorney Christina Bae, is suing McDonald’s for $10 million after allegedly experiencing verbal and physical abuse.
