Box office buzz
November 25, 2013
Director Kwak Kyung-taek’s “Friend 2,” a sequel to the 2001 original, reached the 2-million-viewer mark over the weekend, topping the box office for the second week in a row. Starring Kim Woo-bin, the sequel appears on pace to at least match the success of the original “Friend,” which attracted some 8.2 million people to the box office after its release. (Korea Times)
