‘The 4th Hiring Fair’ comes to LA Convention Center in March

The Korean American Economic Development Center will hold the 2015 4th Hiring Fair at the Los Angeles Convention Center on March 27th.

The event is also co-hosted by Job Korea USA and the Korean Trade Center (KOTRA).

The event will feature over 150 booths representing local and corporate companies including ESPN, Google and Samsung among many others.

At least 7,000 people are expected to attend the free one-day event.

The hiring fair gives individuals the unique opportunity to meet face-to-face with hiring managers.

“Over the years, the hiring fair has grown larger and larger with a significant increase in non-governmental businesses including those that are Korean and corporate,” said President and CEO of KOTRA John Suh. “This year, many of these companies will be holding on-site interviews.”

“This will be a great chance for job seekers to get their resumes in the hands of recruiters,” said President and CEO of Jobs Korea USA. “I hope that the strength of the candidates will appeal to the companies as well.”

Participants should bring resumes and cover letters.

Additional sponsors include Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti, Council Members Mitch O’Farrell and Joe Buscaino, U.S. Rep. Judy Chu and California State Assemblyman Kevin de Leon.
