Chinese version of ‘Infinite Challenge’ coming October
March 17, 2015
China is set to release its own version of “Infinite Challenge,” South Korea’s de facto flagship variety program, Yonhap reported.
MBC and China’s CCTV will hold a conference Wednesday in Shanghai, in which they will announce the first season of the Chinese “Infinite Challenge,” MBC said Monday.
MBC said it agreed to jointly announce the news with CCTV to prevent rumors floating around about other networks remaking the show.
China’s “Infinite Challege” is slated to produce 12 episodes and will air on CCTV in October.
“Infinite Challenge” has been a fixture and leader of South Korean variety programming since its beginning in 2005.
