Kim Hyun-joong enters military service, seen off by 150 fans

K-pop star Kim Hyun-joong entered mandatory military service in Gyeonggi Province, South Korea, Tuesday, Yonhap reported.

About 150 fans from Korea, Japan and China gathered to see off the 28-year-old, who did not issue a statement or any interviews before entering the 30th Division for training.

Actor Bae Yong-joon, who is also under KeyEast Entertainment, came out to say goodbye.

Kim has seen better years — a series of controversial stories involving the star and his ex-girlfriend Choi have surfaced since last August, when she accused Kim of physical assault.

Kim issued an apology for the charges last year, in which he accepted he caused Choi mental and physical damage, after she dropped charges against him. In April, she filed a lawsuit against him seeking about $1.48 million for mental damages.

On Monday, Kim’s attorney confirmed Choi was given about $547,000 for an alleged miscarriage, which she said was caused by Kim’s abuse, last year.

Choi is currently pregnant with Kim’s child.

Meanwhile, Kim — a former member of K-pop idol group SS501 and later Hallyu actor — is set to carry out his 21-month service.

    Irresponsible media as it is….so many wrong facts about this article. It is not confirmed that she is pregnant .even she is it is probably it is not his child
    . Moreover his apology letter last year was actually drafted by her because she blackmailed him
    .all of these are revealed already
