Queens Korean man falls from ladder, dies

A fall from a ladder while pruning a tree at a Flushing, Queens, parking lot June 8 killed a Korean American man.
Identified as Kim, 64, the man was on a ladder working alone when he fell. The accident happened inside the parking lot of a Korean construction company.
According to family, he began work at 1 p.m. at the request of the company. He was discovered by a passerby around 3 p.m.
Kim was taken to New York Hospital Queens but did not regain consciousness. He died Saturday.
Born in Buan County, North Jeolla Province, in South Korea, Kim is survived by his wife and two sons.
