ESL courses attract LA Koreatown ahjummas

English classes have drawn the attention of Los Angeles’ middle-aged Korean female population, commonly known as “ahjummas.”
ESL courses in two levels, beginner and intermediate, held by the Korean American Federation and the YMCA, kicked off last month and are held every Tuesday for two hours.
