By The Korea Times Los Angeles staff
Los Angeles saw a large gathering of Korean medical doctors this past weekend inside Century City’s InterContinental Hotel, where the World Korean Medical Organization (WKMO) hosted its fourth annual convention.
From July 2 to July 4, about 100 doctors from the U.S., South Korea, Canada, Brazil, Paraguay and England convened for discussions and presentations with a focus on mental health.
Hyun Chul-soo, WKMO president, said members of the organization practice in 15 countries.
WKMO was founded in 2011 in an effort to facilitate research advancement and networking among Korean doctors around the world.
