August 17, 2015
Veteran K-pop idol Super Junior took home the Choice International Artist win for the Teen Choice Awards this year, the first for any Korean artist.
The award is given to influential, non-American artists from around the world. Super Junior beat out One Direction and 5 Seconds of Summer for the win.
ELF, the group’s official fan club, also won for Choice Fandom.
The Teen Choice Awards was started in 1999 by FOX.
Super Junior, which dropped “Devil” in July, recently wrapped up promotional activities.
