North Korean newspapers now carry color photos
August 19, 2015
Newspapers in North Korea have finally found color — literally.
Publications like the Minju Chosun and Pyongyang Newspaper have been carrying color photos on their front pages since Aug. 15, in a break from their usual black-and-whites.
According to Yonhap, only one newspaper, the Rodong Sinmun, has carried color photos on its pages.
