K-Food Week 2015 offers promotions in 12 cities
Who’s ready to eat and drink their way through the largest Korean food promotion event in the U.S.?
K-Food Week 2015, which will start Sept. 26 and run through Oct. 4, will offer more than recipes and travel stories — hot restaurants and grocers in 12 major cities plan to offer special discounts through the event.
Overseen by South Korea’s Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Korea Agro-Fisheries & Food Trade Corp (aT), the week is an effort to spread K-food to all corners of the states.
Cities participating are Los Angeles, New York City, Chicago, San Diego, San Francisco, Atlanta, Boston, Philadelphia, Houston, Dallas, Detroit and Washington, D.C.
A mobile app, KFoodWeek, is available for download for information on participating businesses.
“We hope many businesses register in an effort to spread Korean food and Korean products through this event,” an aT representative said.
