Come join the party! LA Korean Festival kicks off
October 2, 2015
Locals and Korean American community leaders gathered Thursday night to mark the start of the annual four-day Los Angeles Korean Festival.
Held within Koreatown’s Seoul International Park, the opening ceremony drew thousands of spectators.
People crowded the 330 booths open for business and promotion.
“I toured the booths and ate a lot of free food offered,” said Choi Hee-won, a 12-year-old Koreatown resident. “Korean food is delicious, and I want to come all four days with my friends.”
