Taeyeon tops music charts with ‘I’

Girls’ Generation member Taeyeon’s first solo album, “I,” is a winner this week as it tops South Korea’s major music charts.
The title track, “I,” rose to No. 1 on eight music sites, among them Melon and Genie, upon its release Tuesday in Korea.
Other tracks — “Gemini,” “Stress,” “Farewell” — are all seeing top-10 success.
Taeyeon is the leader of Girls’ Generation.
