NYPD chief strengthens ties to Korean American community

New York Police Department Commissioner Bill Bratton invited a group of Korean American community leaders — including the president of the Queens Korean Association — to his Manhattan office Monday.
Bratton and the community leaders reportedly discussed a request for more Korean American officers in the 109th Precinct, which overlooks the city’s largest Korean population.
