Korean film wins Best Narrative at Hawaii intl film fest

A Korean film took home the prize for best narrative at the 35th Hawaii International Film Festival last week.
“Madonna,” a mystery drama directed by Shin Su-won, is the winner of the Halekulani Golden Orchid Award for Best Narrative, HIFF announced.
The festival invited 140 films to compete in 30 categories this year.
Actor Ha Jung-woo, who played the role of assassin-for-hire Hawaiian Pistol in the box office hit “Assassination” this year, received the Renaissance Award.
