K-drama ‘Misaeng’ awarded best drama at Asian TV Awards

K-drama “Misaeng,” (also titled “The Incomplete”) which became a television syndrome last year for its realistic depiction of South Korean company culture, won Best Drama Series at the Asian TV Awards (ATA) held in Singapore, Yonhap reported.

According to cable broadcaster tvN Monday, the drama competed against popular Japanese dramas “HERO 2014,” “Midnight Diner” for the title.

ATA was first established in 1996 and is overseen by Singapore’s Contineo Media.

tvN also saw a win with “The Genius Game” in the game/quiz variety program category.

“We’ll do our best to come up with even more competitive content,” said Lee Deok-jae, head of CJ E&M’s media contents divison.
