K-pop group Super Junior’s leader Leeteuk’s father and grandparents were found dead in their apartment early Tuesday morning in Korea.

There are some conflicting reports as they were first reported as victims of an auto accident, but a fire department official later revealed that the case is being investigated as a suicide.

The 30-year old singer Leeteuk’s real name is Park Jeong-su, and according to the authorities at Seoul Dongjak Fire department, his 59-year old father and 85-year old grandfather – both with the last name Park, and 79-year old grandmother were all found dead at around 9:20 a.m. (KST) in their Shindaebang-dong residence in Seoul. “This case was reported as a suspected suicide and not an auto accident. All three subjects were found dead in their residence, and the case was immediately turned over to police,” an official said.

Leeteuk’s father reportedly was found to have hung himself in the master’s bedroom, and his grandparents had passed away laying on the bed, when the police arrived at the scene.

According to some reports, with Leeteuk enlisted in the Army, his father had been taking care of his parents (Leeteuk’s grandparents), who had been suffering from advanced Alzheimer’s, by himself for a while, and a suicide note was found.
