Trainer says Funnyman turned MMA Rookie ruled not one, but three high schools with his fists

A television program revealed the Mixed Martial Arts rookie Yoon Hyung-bin used to rule several high schools in his teens with his fists, sources said Tuesday.

The former comedian’s current trainer Seo Doo-won, a veteran MMA fighter, let the cat out of the bag on the program in March 2013.

According to the sources, the trainer said, “Newly-wedded Yoon may still remind everyone of the funny Wang Bi Ho (the character with which he had garnered fame as a comedian) but he had actually made himself known as an undisputed fighter in his teens, ruling three high schools with his bare fists.”

Seo said it in response to a question asked by Park Eun-ji, a host of cable channel XTM’s “Men’s Techniques.” She had asked him about who among the celebrities that he knows particularly gives off a daunting aura, the sources added.

While Yoon’s February debut against 23-year-old Japanese rookie Tsukuda Takaya looms, his promoter Road Fighting Championship (Road FC) recently released the Korean fighter’s poster promoting the match.

Road FC, the nation’s largest MMA promoter, posted online the poster in which Yoon throws a gloved jab in the air, revealing his built-up torso.
