Girls’ Generation member Yoona to make solo debut
March 9, 2016
SEOUL (Yonhap) — Yoona of popular K-pop group Girls’ Generation will release her first solo piece since debuting with the group nine years ago, her management said Wednesday.
The song “Deoksugung Stonewall Walkway (덕수궁 돌담길의 봄)” will hit online music stores on Friday at midnight, S.M. Entertainment said.
Deoksugung, or the Deoksu Palace, is one of the popular tourist attractions in Seoul’s city center. It was one of the main royal palaces during the Joseon Dynasty (1392-1910).
“Deoksugung Stonewall Walkway” will be released on STATION, a digital music channel run by S.M. The track featuring the Korean indie band “10cm” will be the fifth to be on the channel.
