Actor Song Joong-ki releases photos from meet-and-greet
SEOUL, April 18 (Yonhap) — Actor Song Joong-ki’s talent agency on Monday issued photos from his latest fan meeting.
The photos are from a meet-and-greet that took place at Kyung Hee University in northern Seoul on Sunday, which drew more than 4,000 fans, his talent agency Blossom Entertainment said.
At the event, Song read aloud a handwritten letter to his fans.
“I’m sorry for making you wait so long. Thank you for waiting,” he said. “The second chapter in my acting career has started.”
He added, “I’ll try to become an actor who doesn’t disappoint fans. I sincerely wish all my fans continued happiness.”
The man who plays Army Capt. Yoo Si-jin in the runaway hit drama “Descendants of the Sun” performed two songs, including Kim Dong-ryul’s “Like a Child,” and invited actors Park Bo-gum and Lee Kwang-soo as special guests.
“The fan meeting consisted of various activities that allowed Song to connect with his fans on an intimate level,” his agency Blossom Entertainment said in a statement.
Song will soon embark on an Asia-wide fan meeting tour.
