BigBang postpones China concert
SEOUL, (Yonhap) — South Korean pop group BigBang’s concert has been canceled one day before it was scheduled to be held in Shenyang, northeastern China, on Friday, the group’s agency said.
“We came to delay the concert because of reasons from the Chinese event agency,” YG Entertainment told Yonhap News Agency by phone, without specifying the reasons.
“The cancellation was decided on Thursday,” a YG official said, adding that it will announce the rescheduled date sometime later.
But there will be no change in the group’s concert schedule in other Chinese cities, the agency said. “We apologize to the fans who were looking forward to attending the event,” it added.
After Shenyang, the boys planned to visit Foshan on June 10, Nanning on June 12, Qingdao on June 19, Harbin on June 24, Dalian on June 26, Chongqing on July 1-2 and Chengdu on July 3 in the tour of eight Chinese cities that were not included in their previous “The 2016 BigBang MADE [V.I.P.] Tour” of eight Chinese cities in March.
