Seoul Fashion Week Opens Oct. 18

“Seoul Fashion Week,” a global fashion business event combining K-pop and fashion, will be held at IFC Mall and Yeouido Park in Yeouido, from Oct. 18 through Oct. 23, the Seoul Metropolitan government said Friday.
This culture and fashion festival will offer a variety of programs for participants including a concert by YG Entertainment artists.
Dubbed the“K-style Concert,” it will boast a lineup of iconic K-pop stars including G-Dragon, a renowned fashionista. He is scheduled to perform on Oct. 21. “Olive Food Festival,” in which people can experience various fields including fashion, food, performance and lifestyle, will take place during the two days in the fashion street that bridges Hannam-dong and Itaewon, Seoul.
The essence of the festival, “2013 Fall Seoul Collection,” the prestigious domestic fashion gala, will take place from Oct. 18 through 23 in IFC mall and Yeouido Park. Seats will only be available through reservations. The application for tickets is now open at http://www.seoulfashionweek.org, through Oct. 13 midnight.
