BoA to drop new single next week
SEOUL, Jan. 22 (Yonhap) — Singer BoA will put out a new single next week, her management agency said Monday.
The single titled “Nega Dola,” derived from the Korean sentence meaning “I get crazy,” will hit stores Jan. 31, S.M. Entertainment said. After the single, the diva will release her first EP ever next month, it added.
“Nega Dola” is a hip-hop dance number featuring Latin-flavored guitar and sync sound. It straightforwardly and wittily portrays a woman’s mind troubled by a highly obsessive man, according to the agency.
BoA also is scheduled to launch her web-based reality program “Keyword#BoA” on Naver V Live and Naver TV. The show that features her life and work as a singer will air on the entertainment cable channel XtvN every Sunday night at 11 p.m. starting Sunday.
Last Tuesday, she released her duet with Grammy-winning singer-songwriter Siedah Garrett on a remake of “Man in the Mirror,” recorded by the late pop legend Michael Jackson, and written by Garret and Glen Ballard.
