SHINee to drop new album, celebrate 10th anniv. next month
SEOUL, April 30 (Yonhap) — Popular boy band SHINee will drop a new album next month, the group’s management agency said Monday.
“SHINee is in the final stage of preparations for releasing a new album at the end of May,” SM Entertainment said, without giving any details of the album.
Along with the new album, the four-member group will hold a fan meeting to mark its 10th debut anniversary at a gym at Korea University in Seoul on May 27.
Debuting in May 25, 2008, with “Replay”, SHINee has since released hit songs such as “Love Like Oxygen,” “Juliette,” “Ring Ding Dong” and “Lucifer.” It originally had five members but member Kim Jong-hyun died in December in an apparent suicide after a harrowing battle against depression.
Tickets for the fan meeting will become available on Yes24 at 8 p.m. on May 3.
