T-ara’s Hyomin to release solo album with new agency by next month
SEOUL, May 16 (Yonhap) — Girl band T-ara’s member Hyomin will release a new solo album no later than next month with a new talent agency, her agency said Wednesday.
Hyomin has signed an exclusive contract with the new company Sublime Artist Agency as her previous contract with MBK Entertainment expired in December last year.
The other three members of the female quartet — Jiyeon, Eunjung and Qri — also left MBK following the termination of their contracts, but they said this does not mean they are disbanding.
An official at Hyomin’s new agency said, “She is planning a solo album to be released within the first half of this year. She will resume her career on the local and Chinese stages as a solo singer.”
“Hyomin is very grateful about her fans’ waiting and is eager to meet their expectations,” Sublime Artist Agency said. “She will soon deliver surprise news.”
