Mamamoo to return with new EP targeting summer record market

SEOUL, June 26 (Yonhap) — Leading K-pop female quartet Mamamoo will release a new record next month. joining the intense summer competition among female acts, according to their agency Tuesday.
“Mamamoo will unveil their seventh EP on July 16, capturing Mamamoo’s hot summer as part of the group’s ‘Four Seasons Four Colors’ project,” RBW Entertainment said.
In March, the female group released the EP “Yellow Flower,” the first of the four-part project. Its main song “Starry Night” swept local music charts by storm.
Since its debut in 2014, the four-member group grew into one of the most successful female acts on the K-pop scene, with their vocal performances and colorful music styles.
