BTS’ 3 ‘Love Yourself’ albums place on Billboard Top Album Sales chart
SEOUL, Sept. 6 (Yonhap) — All three “Love Yourself” albums by boy band BTS ranked on the Billboard Top Album Sales chart this week.
According to Billboard chart updates Thursday (Korean time), the septet’s latest release, “Love Yourself: Answer,” topped the Top Album Sales chart tallied based solely on sales of physical copies.
The band’s two previous albums, “Love Yourself: Tear” and “Love Yourself: Her,” also ranked 12nd and 36th, respectively.
The three albums also clinched the top three spots of Billboard’s World Albums chart, according to the weekly updates for the week of Sept. 8, with the latest album leading the chart.
The boy band again topped the Social 50 chart, recording the 60th consecutive week it has stayed atop the chart. It is the longest streak for any artist to take the top spot.
The latest BTS album, the finale of the “Love Yourself” series, landed atop the Billboard 200 album chart for the week, with the digital version featuring Nicki Minaj of “Idol,” the lead track of the album, debuting on the Hot 100 chart in 11th place.
It marks BTS’ eighth album entering the Billboard 200 chart, according to Big Hit Entertainment, the management agency of BTS.
