SEOUL, Sept. 10 (Yonhap) — K-pop boy band BIGBANG earned a YouTube award for drawing more than 10 million subscribers with its YouTube channel, their management agency said Monday.
The milestone earned the quintet the YouTube Diamond Play Button, the second-highest of four YouTube Creator Awards.
As of Monday morning, the number of subscribers to the BIGBANG official YouTube channel reached 10,006,000, according to YG Entertainment.
Since their debut in the K-pop scene 12 years ago, three of their songs, including “Fantastic Baby” and “Bang Bang Bang,” have each garnered more than 300 million YouTube views, the agency said.
