BTOB to release digital single “Friend” next week
SEOUL, Oct. 19 (Yonhap) — K-pop boy band BTOB will release a new digital single next week, bringing together the group’s full lineup including Seo Eun-kwang, who is currently serving in the military, its management agency said Friday.
The new single “Friend,” recorded before the team leader was enlisted in August, will be released on Oct. 23, according to Cube Entertainment.
“This is BTOB’s small gift for fans who are longing to see BTOB in its full lineup,” according to Cube.
Eun-kwang joined the armed forces in late August to fulfill his mandatory military service, temporarily reshaping the boy band as a six-member group.
Following the single release, the six-member act will drop a separate extended play on Nov. 6.
