Television network ABC must be pleased with the ratings of its new sitcom “Dr. Ken” because the studio just signed the show to an additional nine episodes according to Variety.com.
In its first season, the show is pulling in approximately 6.6 million viewers on average per episode in a tough 8:30 p.m. Friday time slot.
The show stars Korean American comedian Ken Jeong (“Hangover,” “Community”) who plays a “physician with poor communications skills as he tries to help his patients, his therapist wife (Suzy Nakamura), and their two children,” according to Metacritic.
